单元内容分析
本单元的功能意念是学会用英语谈论上学、外出等的交通方式以及能够谈论交通规则,能给同伴提出安全出行的建议。在A部分,主要学习交通方式的表达以及如何询问他人出行的交通方式及回答。在B部分,在继续学习问路的基础上,了解欧美国家骑自行车的注意事项,了解不同的交通规则、交通警示标志和这些标志出现的场所。在Read and write 部分,通过阅读让孩子们了解四种不同的出行方式,学生要根据这四种不同的上学方式提出安全建议。
本课时内容分析
本课时在A部分学生已经学习了如何谈论出行方式的基础上,结合学生的生活实际,帮助学生建构了Obey the traffic rules and keep safe.的概念。围绕这个概念,学生先了解交通灯的注意事项,然后结合课本let’s try 和let’s talk, 让学生自主找到搭乘bus需要注意的事项和在美国骑自行车需要注意的交通规则。最后,老师提供了很多交通标识,让学生在日常常见的语用场景中给出合理的出行建议。笔者在处理的时候把let’s learn教学内容渗透在本节课的教学当中,总体带给学生一个概念,在出行的时候要注意安全,令本节课的概念更加突出。具体分析如下:
K---What have the children already known? | 在Unit1当中,学生已经学习了如果问路已经如何用英语表达路线,在Unit 2 A部分,学生已经学习了基本的交通方式的表达,以及如何用英语询问来学校的方式,并能够对交通方式做简单的评价。(That’s good exercises.)对于交通规则和交通标识,孩子们其实都有一定的了解,只是他们不知道如何用英语表达。 |
W--- What do the children want to know? | 通过这节课的学习,学生希望了解到问路过程中,乘公共汽车的表达。更重要的是:通过学习,学生建立起keep safe的概念,并在出行的时候做到这一点。学生还希望了解到欧美国家骑自行车的注意事项以及认识不同的交通标示。并能够用英语表达交通规则、提出交通建议等。 |
L--- What have the children learned in this class? | 这节课上完以后,从语言学习的角度来说,学生能够了解欧美国家骑自行车的注意事项以及认识不同的交通标示。从语用的角度来说,学生能够用Don’t … You must …等给他人提出出行建议。从概念建构方面,学生形成了出行时keep safe的概念,并在生活中能贯彻落实。 |
三、教学目标分析:
1. 知识和能力目标
学生能够通过free talk这个环节回忆相关背景知识及话题词汇。
学生能够理解对话大意;能够按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话。
学生能够在情景中运用…must…和Don’t 表达要遵守的交通规则。
在文化意识方面,通过对话了解欧美国家骑自行车的注意事项,了解不同的交通警示标志和这些标志出现的场所。
从意义建构方面,学生建构起出行时注意安全的意识。
2.学习策略
(1)通过跟读、范读,引导学生用正确的语音、语调朗读。
(2)通过对比和分析,引导学生找出中国和欧美国家在交通规则上的异同。
(3) 通过理解和归纳,了解交通规则、注意交通安全。
3.情感和态度:学生了解交通出行的安全问题,以及要遵守交通规则的文明意识。
四、教学重点:
1. 学生能理解对话的大意,用正确的语音、语调朗读。
2.“安全出行”意义的建构。
3. 学生能用…must…和Don’t 表达要遵守的交通规则。
4. 了解欧美国家骑自行车的注意事项和不同的交通标识。
五、教学难点:
1. 如何给出安全出行建议。
2. 如何自主建构安全出行的概念。
六、教学步骤:
Step 1 Warm-up
Hello, children. Today we go on to learn Unit 2. Can you remember what we talk about in Part A? Encourage the students to think what they have learned in Part A.
Brain storm: We know people go to school and go to work in different ways. What ways do you know?
Free talk:
T: There are so many ways. How do you come to school? (By bus. Which bus do you take? By bike. / On foot. Oh, that’s good exercises. By car. Is your home far from school? How long is it from your home to school? )
设计意图:通过头脑风暴,激发学生在A部分学习的有关上学交通方式的知识,并通过和孩子们谈论自己的上学方式,唤醒孩子们相关的生活经验。
Step 2 Leading in
Form the concept: Keep safe.
Show the video of traffic light to help the students understand the concept of “Obey the traffic rules and keep safe. ”
T: When we come to school, we must pay attention to sth. (注意一些事项) Let’s watch and think: What must we pay attention to?
After watching the video, try to form the concept: Keep safe.
What happened in the video?
There is a traffic accident.
Why? Go at the red light.
So we must pay attention to the traffic lights and obey the traffic rules. Don’t go at the red light. We must keep safe.
How to keep safe in our life?
Stop at the red light.
Slow down and wait at the yellow light.
Go at the green light.
We must pay attention to the traffic lights.
Play a game: Look, act and say.
设计意图:以一段视频,引发学生思考:出行时要注意什么?从而带出本节课的概念:Keep safe. 然后,老师用问题让学生联系实际,生活中出行最重要的交通规则,强化学生Keep safe的概念。
Step 3 Presentation and practice
1.T:If we pay attention to the traffic lights, obey the traffic rules. We can keep safe. Do they keep the traffic rules?
Show the pictures of Mrs Smith and her students.
Mrs Smith and her students are going to the nature park. They are going by bus. Do they obey the traffic rules? Let’s listen and tick.
Look, they are getting on the bus. Do you keep the traffic rules?
How do you know? --- One by one.
Is Wu Yifan here? Where is Wu Yifan?
接着马上从let’s try中one by one这个点,总结出安全出行的第一点:one by one. 这些与孩子们的生活息息相关,有助于帮助孩子们理解和建立概念。另外,通过听力内容,引出let’s talk的主角Wu Yifan的去向,从而使我们的课堂加入了悬念,激发了孩子们的兴趣。

S: Wu Yifan is going to Fuxing Hospital.
T: Does he know the way?
S: No.
T: Who does he meet?
S: Mr Jones.
T: Does he know the way to Fuxing Hospital?
S: Yes.
T: How can Wu Yifan go there?
S: He can go by bus. No. 57 bus.
设计意图:通过预测,激发学生的学习兴趣,并通过第一次整体听的呈现方式,整体呈现课文。问题的设计也是比较表层,孩子们比较容易找到答案,从而增强孩子们学习的信心。

In China, people on motorbikes must wear a helmet.
设计意图:通过阅读和观察图片,让孩子们找出交通出行的第二点:在美国,骑自行车要戴头盔,在我们中国,骑摩托车也要带头盔,渗透安全出行的第二点。

设计意图:本节课的概念建构到了这个部分就体现了它的语用功能:如何结合生活实际给出合理的建议。让孩子们建构的keep safe这个概念在运用中得到升华。
