　　Goodmorning, everyone! First, let me introduce myself. My name isHu Jina,an English teacherfrom Xingtai No.3 Junior High School. Today, it’s a pleasure for me to share some of my teaching ideas with you.

　　My teaching topic is4a—4b,from Unit11Junior English Book，Grade9.I have decided to say the lesson from sixparts:

　　They're Analysis of Teaching material (教材分析),Analysis of the students(学情分析), Teaching methods (教学方法),Learning methods,Teaching procedures(教学步骤)and Blackboard design.(板书设计)

Part 1 Analysis of the Teaching Material(教材分析）

　　Well, firstly, I`ll talk about Part 1,the analysis of teaching material.The main content of this unit is talking about how things affect you, and the topic ofthislesson isgrammar “make sb./sth.+adj.” and “make sb. do sth.”.

　　ThenI`ll talk about learning objectives. There are knowledgeobjectives, ability objectives and emotional objectives.

　　1、knowledge objectives

　　a. To know some new words and phrases of this lesson.

　　b.To know and use the patterns “make sb./sth. +adj.” and “make sb. do sth.”

　　c. To enrich more words about emotions

　　2、ability objectives

　　a. To improve the Ss’ ability of summarizing and analyzing by observing

　　b. To be able to express one’s emotions and describe one’s reactions

　　This is the teaching difficulty in this lesson.

　　3、emotional objectives

　　a. To help Ss understand the importance of good-feelings

　　b. To help Ss learn happily

Part 2

　　Let`s move on to another part: the analysis of the students.

　　Now I 'll talk about the Analysis of the students(学情分析)

　　The students are in Grade Ninenow, and they have moreinterestsof learning and speaking English, they are willing to co-operate and communicate with others in class, I think it’s happyfor them to learn the lesson and they will take an active part in the activities in class.[!--empirenews.page--]

Part 3

　　Next is teaching methods. According to New Course Standard of English(新课标),combining with the language level (语言级别)of Ss, I use3 methods in my lesson.There aretask-based methods(任务教学法);Cognitive andcommunicative methods(交际教学法); Co-operation and competitionmethods (合作竞争教学法)。Student-centered, the teachers motivate, stimulate and guide the students.

　　In the teaching process, I will apply pictures , materials, and multi-media computer to arouse(激起)the Ss’ interests in learning.

　　Now I want to talk about part 4 Learning methods:学法及学法指导

Part 4

　　As an English teacher, myduty is not only to teach the students some English knowledge, but also to raise their skills of learning and using English. Such as:

　　1.Co-operation and competition----Students cooperate and compete with each other by working in groups.

　　2. Get the Ss to form good learning habits.

Part 5

　　Now I`ll talk about teachingprocedures.I design my lesson into the followingsteps.

　　Step 1Starter.

　　First, look at the learning objectiveswith the students together,thenIshow them a cup of juice. And let the student do as I do, taste it.

　　(Purpose of my designing: Thejuice not only help attract the students’attention but also lead inthe new lesson.---let the studentfindthe new rule: make sb./sth. +adj.)

　　Step 2 Game

　　Letthemrecall some adjs about emotions，categorizethem into two groups.

　　(Purpose of my designing:enrich more words about emotions,get the students to practise their Co-operation and competitionability)

　　Step 3Match

　　Let them listen to some music, and match it with some emotionwords.

　　(Purposeof my designing:This is controlled practice.to make the students match the right emotion with the music.)

　　Using the words or phrases and describe the pictures.

　　(Purpose of my designing:This semi-controlled practice.Using the pattern and words to describe the pictures.)

　　Step 5 Group work.

　　I will share some latest news with the students.I'llgive them a sample, then ask the Ss to talk in their group, and 2 mins later, ask some to say sth. about the news.

　　(Purpose of my designing:This is uncontrolledpractice.To let the students talk about theiremotions, using the pattern we'velearned)

　　Step 6 New grammar point

　　Tell them when we have some emotions,we can react in different ways.We can also say

　　It madeher cry.It made me feel very angry.Our government made her pay an overdue tax.

　　(Purpose of my designing：lead inthe new grammar point.---let the students findthe new rule: make sb. +do.)

　　Step 7 Practice.

　　Letthemrelax, listen to a song,Sunshine on my shoulders, and finish the

　　lyrics.Play the song for the Ss, and make them finish it.

　　(Purpose of my designing：have a relax, and consolidate the usage of make.)

　　Step 8 Analyzing and summarizing

　　a.A diary

　　Using the words and phrases to fill in the blanks. Then answer the question:What affected her feelings?weather, friendship, school result, food.

　　b. Emotion line

　　Suppose this is her emotion line.Ask one to draw it on the Bb. Show the emotion line on PPT.

　　(Purpose of my designing：To improve the Ss’ ability of summarizing and analyzing)

　　Step 9.A survey

　　Complete the survey. Then ask two other students. Then ask some to report in class.

　　(Purpose of my designing：To be able to express one’s emotions and describe one’s reactions.Deal with the teaching difficulty in this step.)

　　Step 10.Sum

　　We can’t change our looks, but we can change our expressions.

　　(Purpose of my designing：To help Ss understand the importance of good-feelings)

　　Step 11.A saying

　　Honestly, I’m glad I met everybody in my life. The good and the bad. The good make me thankful, the bad make me learn my lessons. I wish all of you be happy every day!

　　Step 12.Plenary

　　Plenary: How do you feel today? Draw your face in the air like me.

　　Step 13.Homework

　　You must

　　Write a short passage to show your feelings today.

　　If you can

　　Create a little poem according to the song Sunshine On My Shoulder

　　(Purpose of my designing：My purpose is to developthe Ss’ writing ability and it’s a good way to consolidate(巩固)the knowledge they have learned after class.The homework supermarket is better for the weak students to choose their favorite homework.)

The last part is Blackboard Design
